Touch a Truck

Touch a Truck is a yearly occurrence here in our town. This was our first year attending, and boy did my kids love it! Touch a Truck is an event that allows preschool age children to see a variety of trucks up close and have the chance to sit in them and pretend to drive. And it allows their moms to take lots of pictures!

At first Carter wouldn't sit in anything. He didn't want to get near the trucks. They are quite a bit larger in person. ;) And the wheels look like they could swallow you right up! Grandpa boosted Carter into the driver's seat of the garbage truck and Carter did not like it AT ALL. He gave Grandpa a VERY dirty look (which you'll see below) and then screamed and yelled until he was lifted down. But by the end, he was 10 steps ahead of me climbing up into big rigs and fire engines<.br>

Eden had a bunch of friends from preschool there so they all ran around together and had lots of fun. It was a beautiful day and now my children have touched many trucks!

The friends all found time to get in a round or two of ring-around-the-rosie

And then they saw a big truck leaving...
